This year's Students' Council is comprised over 20 fantastic, hardworking and motivated students. Our council is made up of all grades and consists of many positions which all work together as a team in hopes for successful student events! Your 2008-2009 Students' Council is:

February 4- 12 Kisses for Cassie

Thank you to all staff and students who participated in our Kisses for Cassie, Hersey's Kisses event, we raised over $150 that will be donated to the Oncology Unit at Sick Kids Hospital. Thank you to all who participated, we hope to see you again next year!
 
The Dr. G. W. Williams Rummage Sale!
 
CALLING ALL BARGAIN HUNTERS! Can't resist a deal? Then we want to see YOU at our FIRST EVER commmunity-wide Rummage Sale held right here @ Williams! Join us May 2nd from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and scoop up some great stuff. You can find anything from furniture to sports equipment!
We are also looking for donations! If you would like to support our students and local community, we will gladly accept any clean and usable items! We will be accepting donations during the week of Monday, April 20th to Friday, April 24th from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. in our front foyer at Williams.

10% of our proceeds will be donated to a local charity and the rest will support student-led initiatives. Thank you for caring about student leadership!

June 12th- Student Appreciation BBQ & Double Blue Day!
 
This year, the last school Friday of the year will be Student Appreciation Day! In celebration of our wonderful Student body, Student Council will be hosting a BBQ hot dog and hamburger lunch for all students. We are encouraging all students to come out and enjoy the day with us!

In addition, that same day will be our end of the year Double Blue Day! This traditional day is focused on displaying the Wildcat way! In the morning and at the BBQ, Student Council will be offering wildcat face painting to encourage all students to let their Williams pride run wild! Student Council urges all Staff and Students to dress up in their favourite Williams gear or anything double blue (light blue & dark blue) to celebrate our school! We can't wait to see everyone there!
