Williams Athletic Council   Williams Athletic Council (WAC) is dedicated to supporting and promoting athletics at Williams. WAC is an open council that meets every Thursday after school in the library to discuss any upcoming athletic events, such as games or tournaments that are being hosted at Williams. WAC is responsible for running the school store during both lunch periods where snacks, drinks, and school clothing are sold. To participate in sports at Williams all students must pay the mandatory WAC fee, twenty dollars, and the mandatory banquet fee, five dollars. These fees are put towards supporting teams so that they can enter into tournaments, purchase new uniforms, and towards the annual end of the year Athletic Banquet. The end of the year Athletic Banquet is a great opportunity for teams to get together one last time and celebrate the year's accomplishments through awards, videos and social dining. Members of WAC must first complete ten mandatory "WAC hours," however once their ten hours have been completed, any additional volunteer hours, that are completed outside of school hours, can count towards their forty hours of community service required to graduate.
